Howdy folks,
Tuesday (Nov 5) is election day, so obviously Jackrabbit and I are gonna be talking about that…lol We hope you join us at 6pm ET/3pm PT. As always, we will be streaming live on Youtube and Rumble. Just click on either of those links and you will be with us live. We're always happy to get your input during the show.
Also, I have just returned from an amazing week in Barcelona where I presented and participated in the International Conference on Plural Economy. So that is gonna come up.
Lastly, you know that at Redneck Gone Green we engage the electoral process differently than the usual “talking heads talking about the horse race.” In that spirit I am excited to invite folks to join me for a collaborative webinar titled Rising Together: Assessing the Post-Election Day Moment, Charting What’s Next. This webinar will be offered on Tues, Nov 11th from 9am-11am pacific, 12-2pm eastern.
It will be very participatory, with several breakout rooms. It’s free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. Click here to register. More details are below my signature.
Our writings, podcasts, and video streams are always free. But if you are able to become a paid subscriber you can do that by clicking here.
Thank you for being part of the growing “Redneck Gone Green” community. Please help us keep up the momentum by sharing our content.
Onward to the world we deserve,
David Cobb (he/him)

The 2024 elections will have left our communities, movements, and society in a dangerous place. That's why we're convening a special post-election day assembly on Monday, November 11th, 2024 from 12-2 PM ET, Rising Together: Assessing the Post-Election Day Moment, Charting What’s Next.
As we move through this uncertain period, we invite movement leaders, organizers, independent journalists, scholars, and community members to come together for critical reflection and connection.
What to expect:
* Insights and analysis from journalists Norman Stockwell (Progressive.org), Laura Flanders (The Laura Flanders Show), and Erin Aubry Kaplan (contributing writer for The New York Times, Politico, LA Times)
* A panel discussion with Matt Nelson (Presente.org), Suren Moodliar (How We Win), Dan Schlademan (union strategist, Senior Advisor O2O), & Cheri Honkala (Poor People's Army)
* Breakout sessions on key topics like the future of voting rights, political violence, elite responses, and grassroots interventions
* Open space for participant-led discussions
* Mapping of our assets, skills, and knowledge
* Miki’ala Catalfano (Native Roots Network), Ben Manski (GMU Professor), and April Doner (Living World Studios) will guide us through the Assembly.
This is more than a debrief—this is a call to action and solidarity. Although we’re facing unprecedented challenges and threats to our communities, in moments of crisis, we also find new possibilities.
Join us to make sense of the moment collectively and share ideas for immediate action and long-term organizing. Together, we can make sense of the chaos and find our path forward.
