We’ve missed our people during our summer hiatus and we’re very much looking forward to restarting the show this Tuesday September 3rd at 6p ET/3p PT. Please join us on Youtube or Rumble as we discuss some significant changes to the orientation of the show.
Global crises combined with the current landscape of American politics has provoked a reconsideration of where we should be directing the energy we put into our organizing and activism.
David still sees 3rd parties as critical, but he’s shifting his energy away from electoralism. He’s often cautioned against what he describes as “electoral fetishism”, so I’ll be asking him to explain what has changed for him and how it is manifesting in his political practice.
I’ll be honest with you guys, I am very cynical about our political future. But, one of the reasons that I’m excited to work with David is his seemingly inexhaustible hope for the future. It grudgingly gives me hope as well and I’m hoping to interrogate him on Tuesday to get to the bottom of it! We look forward to having you join us.
